FAQ & About

Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly is a peptide?

A peptide is a short sequence of amino acids linked together, smaller than a full protein, that the body uses to send signals between cells. These signalling functions make peptides relevant across areas like tissue repair, immune regulation, and cell-to-cell communication.

Why do researchers work with peptides?

Researchers study peptides because of how selectively they bind to receptors and influence specific biological pathways. That specificity makes them useful for laboratory work aimed at understanding cellular mechanisms in a controlled, reproducible way.

What payment options are available?

Orders can be paid by credit or debit card, UK bank transfer, or cryptocurrency (Bitcoin, Ethereum, and USDT). Full bank details and step-by-step payment instructions are available on our payment instructions page.

What's the correct way to store peptides?

Every peptide ships lyophilised (freeze-dried), which keeps it stable in transit and during storage before use. Keep unopened vials somewhere cool, dry, and out of direct light, ideally refrigerated if you're holding stock for a longer period. After reconstitution, vials should go straight in the fridge and be handled with standard sterile lab technique.

How fast is delivery, and where do you ship?

We currently deliver within the United Kingdom only. Place your order before 2pm on a business day and it goes out same-day; anything after that cutoff, or over the weekend, ships the following business day. Most orders land within 48 hours of dispatch, and you'll get tracking details straight from us once it's on its way. Orders over £200 qualify for free shipping automatically, no code needed.

Can I return or get a refund on an order?

Because of the nature of research products, we're not able to accept returns. That said, if something arrives damaged or isn't what you ordered, email us at hello@peptidedepotuk.com within 48 hours of delivery and we'll sort it out quickly.

How do you verify quality on every batch?

Every product we sell is independently lab-tested before it reaches our catalogue, confirming purity and consistency against research-grade standards. You'll find a Certificate of Analysis (CoA) available for each product we stock.
